What measures can make road traffic quieter? With, among other things 2-layer porous asphalt and T-tops (an addition to an existing noise screen), IPG-Weg has developed ways of reducing traffic noise on main roads. Not just new road surfaces and modifications to noise screens, but also quiet tyres have been proven to make a considerable contribution to reducing the noise of road traffic.
Since the start of IPG in 2002, IPG-Weg has developed a lot of measures for quieter road traffic. Now there are twelve projects in progress that focus mainly on encouraging the application of the measures and developing the existing measures further.
