Five years of intensive work on innovations on source measures for railway noise
abatement were presented during a two-day seminar in a relaxed atmosphere near
Utrecht. In eight serial sessions we focussed on the technical and acoustical aspects
of the low-noise innovations, and on the implementation strategies for them.
International Reference Board
The work of IPG-Rail was followed by a group of international experts: each member
of this reference board concluded a session with her or his view on the Dutch
