Noise fragments from a noisy and less noisy passenger train. You can hear a reduction of 8 decibels.

Noise fragment from acoustically ground rail and rail dampers. You hear a reduction of 4 decibels.

The following fragment shows a freight train/car transport train consisting of wagons with cast-iron brake blocks, followed by wagons with LL brake box. You can hear a reduction of some 9 decibels.

In the film shorts below, you can see and hear a container train the first part of the wagons in which is equipped with cast iron brake blocks in the second half with LL brake box. You can hear a reduction of approx. 9 decibels.

In the video fragment below you can see and hear a freight train, the first four wagons in which are equipped with cast iron brake blocks and the 26 wagons following with K brake blocks and wheel dampers. You can hear a reduction of some 9 decibels.
